What Causes Skin Spots?

Most people think about trying different remedies to get rid of their skin spots. They need to keep in mind that in the first place if they taken adequate measures to prevent them they would not have to deal with trying to get them removed.

Several people are under the mistaken impression that they only have acne  But, facial skin spots can occur for many different reasons.  Some people even have skin condition called hyperpigmentation.

Acne Skin Spots

The most common of reasons why people develop facial skin spots is because of clogged pores and these can in turn lead to whiteheads, blackheads and pimples. Clogged pores are usually seen on the oiliest part of one’s face and that is the T-zone. This region is made up of the nose, chin and forehead. There are several reasons why the pores might get clogged up with oil.

This could be the damage that is caused to your skin because of too much exposure to the harsh sun, hereditary factors, hormonal changes, dirt that becomes trapped in the oil and underneath the skin and the skin being dry.  If you have a dry skin syndrome then there is a likelihood that this might occur on your face. You need to take necessary precautions in the form of using the right cleansers and moisturizers on your facial skin.  Do not use any over the counter creams until you are sure of what is causing your facial skin spots in the very first place. It is recommended that you drink plenty of water because this works as a natural way to rehydrate your skin.

Hyperpigmentation Skin Spots

There are a few people who might have brown spots on face which is caused due to age and hormonal imbalances linked with it. This also happens when you have exposed your skin to the sunlight for long hours without any protection. The melanin and the hyperpigmentation that takes place due to the excessive amounts of melanin found underneath the skin are quite common as one gets older. The best thing to do is to take proper care of the skin and watch out for any changes in one’s health such as liver dysfunction, menopause, allergies, pregnancy or even stress and tension. All of these affect the skin and make it prone to break out in skin spots on the face.

See your doctor if you have any concerns about your skin spots.
